More than 25 years ago, a friend of mine started a business called "Condo Search". He entered into marketing agreements with every vacation rental complex in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. The company specialized in matching short term and long term
travelers with their dream vacation rental property. One of his favorite properties was the then little known Palm Island Resort. He thought my wife and I might enjoy the peace and tranquility that a stay at Palm Island would bring.
Our first visit to Palm Island Resort was back in the day when the trolley made a brief tour of the island every hour, picking up guests dropped off by ferry "Palm Island I". After the first 3 days at Palm Island Resort we couldn't imagine why anyone would want to be cut off from their car and access to a grocery store, telephone and all the conveniences of modern life. By the end of the week, we did not want to leave. We couldn't wait until the following year when we would return for the first of more than 50 visits to the jewel of Cape Haze Peninsula known as Palm Island.
Later, I took over the Condo Search company from my friend and ran it for several years. Now, more than 20 years later, I am an online e-commerce and internet marketing consultant, and have also begun purchasing vacation rental condominiums in the Cape Haze area.
Together with my son Bobby, and wife Kathy, we started the online vacation rental referral service "My Cape Haze" which has as its mission to help visitors to Cape Haze Peninsula "hook up" with privately owned resort condominiums and pool homes. We love Cape Haze Peninsula and we love helping you find your favorite place.
